[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The national parks of Rwanda are protected ecosystems and wildlife reserves located within the borders of Rwanda in east central Africa. In 2020, these protected natural zones include the Volcanoes National Park,[1] Akagera National Park and Nyungwe Forest. Maintenance of the national park system, as well as tourism infrastructure and promotion of the parks, is managed by the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) with assistance from government ministries.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]

VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK:

Rwanda also known as the land of “Gorillas in the Mist” has its star tourist attraction in the Mountain Gorillas.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]

NYUNGWE NATIONAL PARK:

Nyungwe is the source of Africa’s great rivers. Rain that falls on the east side feeds the Nile and on the west runs to the Congo.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]

AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK:

Akagera is, above all, big game country! Herds of elephant and buffalo emerge from the woodland to drink at the lakes, while lucky visitors might stumble across a spotted hyena or even a stray lion. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
