Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

You will be picked up by our driver guide from the airport ready to set off to Volcanoes National Park. The park lies between 2400 and 4507 meters and mainly dominated by volcanoes and hence its name. It is a famous destination where Dian Fossey the popular zoologist conducted her 18 year research. You will check in your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda

Breakfast in the morning and after, set off to the park headquarters for briefing on the general behavior while in the jungle with these endangered apes. Out of the ten habituated gorilla groups in Volcanoes National Park, you will be assigned only one group to track. Besides mountain gorillas, there are also bird species, primates and other mammal species for you sight. Gorilla trekking is a breathtaking adventure and regarded as the most sought after experience in the world. After your lifetime experience, you will return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at the previous place.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, Uganda

Get up in the morning for breakfast and after set off to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park provides spectacular tropical rain forest landscape and exceptionally thick but rewards visitors with lifetime experiences. Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Breakfast early in the morning and after set off for morning briefing at the park headquarters ready to go to look out for some of the a group of these spectacular primates in the wild. Besides, there are about 120 mammal species as well as 350 bird species, 200 trees, 51 reptiles, 310 butterflies and many more. Like any mountain gorilla destination, you will be assigned to one habituated gorilla group to track in a group of eight visitors where you will spend about 1 to 8 hours hiking depending on your speed, location of gorilla group and altitude of the area. After your breathtaking adventure, you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at as above.

Day 5: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Breakfast in the morning and after proceed to Kibale National Park, the capital of primates in East Africa. Upon arrival, you catch a glimpse of the surrounding areas and after check in the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at

Day 6: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest National Park

Following breakfast in the morning you will join the rest of the visitors at Kanyanchu visitor for early morning briefing from the park official on how you are supposed to behave in the forest. You will be put in groups of six people to track chimpanzees. You will also catch a glimpse of several primates that make up the 13 primates in the park as well as other forest bird species. After your exciting primate adventure, you will return to the lodge where you spent your night the previous day.

Day 7: Transfer back to Kigali

Breakfast in the morning in your respective lodge and after you set off for Kigali for your scheduled flight back home and this will mark the end of your seven days safari in Uganda and Rwanda.
