The 5 days safari in Rwanda and Kenya takes you through Volcanoes National Park for gorilla trekking and wildlife tour in Maasai Mara National Reserve a Home to a Concentration of Kenyan Wildlife thus exploring East Africa. Volcanoes National Park offers refuge to about 62% of all the rare mountain gorillas that live within the Virunga Massifs. There are 10 habituated gorilla families but only one will be assigned to you to track in a group of eight visitors. The 5 days gorilla and wildlife safari will also comprise of a city tour in Kigali and wildlife tour in Kenya’s spectacular safari destination the splendid Maasai Mara.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Gisozi genocide memorial site, drive to Volcanoes national park
Breakfast in the morning from your respective hotel in Kigali city, Our Safari Guide will pick you up and we set off for a city tour where you will visit the Gisozi genocide memorial site to explore more on the Rwanda genocide of 1994 where deaths of about 500,000 – 1,000,000 people lost their lives during the Rwanda Civil war. You will also have the opportunity to reach to the nearby local art and craft shop as well as the fruit markets. You will enjoy your lunch and after proceed to Northwestern Rwanda to Volcanoes National Park. Dinner and overnight stay at

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park, return to your Hotel in Kigali City
Following breakfast in the morning, you will head to the park headquarters for the morning briefing with the rest of other Participants where you will be assigned a gorilla group and guide to lead you through the forest to look out for the rare mountain gorillas. The usual trek takes about 2 to 8 hours and only one hour is allowed for you to have a face to face encounter with these great apes in the wild. After your lifetime experience, you will return to the lodge for lunch and after drive back to Kigali for a rest, dinner and overnight over at

Day 3: Fly to Nairobi City – Kenya
following breakfast, you will be picked by driver guide ready to set off to Kigali International Airport for your flight to Nairobi. You will have lunch in Nairobi Serena Hotel, Sankara Nairobi, The Heron Portico, and The Sarova Stanley where you will also have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve
You will have breakfast early in the morning and after drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve. The safari takes you to the center of Maasai Mara wildlife reserve which offers refuge to the spectacular big five game which include the Lion, Buffaloes, Rhinos, Elephants, Cheetah, Leopards as well as several birdlife. You will have lunch en-route and later continue to the park for game drive. Dinner and overnight stay in Mara Siria Tented Camp, Kicheche Bush Camp, Mara Sopa Lodge, Dorobo Bush Camp.
Day 5: Early morning game drive and transfer to Nairobi city
Get up early in the morning and have breakfast. After you will head to Maasai Mara National Reserve to sight the wildlife species that you missed in the previous day, you will have a chance to view the wildebeest, zebras, leopards, gazelle, topi, heartbeats, eland and many others. After, you will transfer to Nairobi airport for your flight back home.
